Knowledge Structure of Iranian Higher Education Studies based on co-word Network Analysis in ISC Database

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to draw the knowledge structure of Iranian higher education studies based on articles in the Islamic world citation database and this study is of an applied type by nature and has been done using the co-occurrence analysis method of words. The research community includes all articles published in three journals in the field of higher education, "Higher Education Curriculum Studies, Higher Education Research and Planning, and Higher Education Letters" and all articles in which the word "higher education" And are indexed in the Islamic World Science Citation Database. The data analysis software that was used include: SPSS, Ucinet, Bibe Excel and Vos viewer software. The findings showed that the keywords higher education, curriculum planning and university had the highest frequency with 497, 82 and 57. The results of the dendrogram diagram formed four thematic clusters that include higher education strategies, factors affecting the improvement of higher education, knowledge management in the higher education system and the factors affecting it and the higher education system. The data obtained from the strategic chart show that interdisciplinary curriculum planning, organizational culture, flexibility, localization, educational technology and learning are emerging topics. Overall, the research is very comprehensive, and researchers have focused on topics of varying scope.
